Those that know me understand that I live life in full spectrum colour.
Each room in my house acts as a sort of immersive art gallery, where original paintings and hand-painted objects are placed against colour-washed walls. Three reception rooms, one blue, one green, one golden yellow, are each furnished and dressed in a way designed to delight and surprise. Brushstrokes extend from the paintings onto the walls, and over vases, candle holders and sculptures, in a series of decorative assemblages.

In the morning, moving from my ochre and pink bedroom to the minty green bathroom, my senses are nudged into creative mode. Original cornices, fireplaces and windows in every room allow for all sorts of decorative flourishes, and as for the summerhouse, well I have really let my imagination go wild in there.

My love of colour is naturally reflected in the way I dress. To an everyday attire of soft blues, greens and pinks I add two or three looping scarves, which combine patterns and colours like a wearable painting. Whether I'm out walking in summer skirts with my collie on Southbourne Cliffs, or trekking with my partner in the New Forest bundled up in thick jumpers and cords, I enjoy sharing a splash of harmonious colour wherever I go.
